Australia 2015

Good-bye Australia! Hello Nashville! Renee had a great time down-under but she’s so very glad to be returning home tomorrow. She's actually boarding a plane in Australia in a few hours.

It’s apparent by all the wonderful comments we have been receiving that her Australia Master Class Tour was quite the success. But even with a grueling schedule of classes, private lessons and promotions Renee was able to slip in a little vacation time.

One of the highlights of Renee's trip was having dinner with former student and good friend Lee Kernaghan and his beautiful wife Robby. Lee, Australia's 2008 "Man Of The Year," just completed his new album "Spirit of the Anzacs" a tribute to the 8,000 Australians killed in WWWI. Traditionally a country singer, Lee's album has been #1 on the Australian charts for the last three weeks in all genres including pop. Here's a link to his current YouTube video.

Renee had an emotional few days working with 16 year old Keely Johnson in Queensland Australia. She came to Renee through Lee Kernaghan. Keely has cancer and has been diagnosed with a rare brain tumor. Through the Make A Wish Foundation, she recently had the chance to record a song and perform with her country music idol Lee Kernaghan! Click here if you would like to see the video.

3/15/15 Renee is now in Sydney. She had two Master Classes. She's also taking a few days to rest. Here are a some photos of their time in Sydney. Enjoy

3:18:15 Renee's good friend Lee Kernaghan introduced her to the Wolfe Brothers, runners up in the 2012 Australia's Got Talent. They had a blast hanging out in Hobart! Check out their music, these guys ROCK!

3:17:15 Tour is going great, Renee has been working with a lot of talented singers, but she has also taken time out to have some fun. Here's a few photos from last week.

 Tasmania, this place is HAUNTED!

3:3:15 The photo below was taken as Renee and team flew from Adelaide to
Melbourne, isn't this just breath-taking?

She also took some time out to exercise she decided that if Tim McGraw could workout with tires that she would try to best him by working out with cars.

While in Adelaide Renee met with Paul Davis who is with the Australian Parkinson's Foundation. Her tour will help raise awareness and funding to help fight this terrible disease.

2:23:15 Thought you might want to meet Kenny Jewell owner, LittleManBIG Entertainment. Kenny is the one who invited Renee to Australia and put the tour together.

2:22:23 Renee’s having a wonderful time on her tour. Karen O’Brien said, “There was some amazing talent in this group, and it made me feel proud to be associated with them all. Renee Grant-Williams!!! It was a pleasure to meet such an inspirational woman, to have you come all the way from America to Adelaide and pass on your knowledge to us has been a great opportunity we are thankful to have been given the change to attend!

2:20:15 Renee never ceases to amaze. Not only is she one of the greatest vocal coaches ever, but it appears she's been keeping it a secret, that she's also a pilot. Only Renee could get an airline pilot to let her sit in his seat to get her photo taken.

2.19.2015  And she's off.....Renee left Tuesday evening for her 11 week Vocal Master Class Tour in Australia. The ice-storm caused her Monday flight to be canceled which actually turned out to be a good thing, she was not feeling well. She's now safe in Adelaide, feeling better and looking forward to making new friends and seeing some former students at her Sunday class.

Here's a photo of Renee at the airport checking in. The guy with her is a member of the band "Icon for Hire". Check em' out!

If you live in Australia and would like to attend one of Renee's Vocal Master Classes click here for more information or to purchase a ticket.

Happy New Year Everyone!

I hope you had a great holiday and are looking forward to all the wonderful things that 2015 will bring. I like to look at the new year as a time to reflect and make positive changes that will enrich my life and that of those around me. It's also a good time to evaluate where you are with your music and make decisions that will move it in the right direction.

2015 is starting off with a bang. Here's what's happeing.

Priscilla Barker goes to American Idol

We are so very proud of student Priscilla Barker who has her golden ticket to this year's American Idol. Priscilla made it all the way to Hollywood last year but lost her voice just before she went on stage. Renee's advice to Priscilla, "Don't forget to warm up your voice before you go out to perform. Even if all you do are the zzzzz's."

Here's a link to Priscilla's audition.

I know you will all join with us to cheer her on.

I'm very excited to be traveling back to Australia to present my "Vocal Master Class" in 9 major cities and New Zealand. This will be my fourth trip to Australia and I'm looking forward to seeing some past students and meeting new singers. I'll be heading out on the 16th of February and will be returning on the 4th of May.
